snowballs

{our very favorite christmas cookie}

Snow Balls 350* 20 min

¾ C butter

1 tsp vanilla

1 Tbl water

1/8 tsp salt

1/3 C sugar

1 ½ C flour

1 C choc chips

1 C chopped nuts

Cream butter, vanilla, water, sugar and salt. Add flour and mix well. Add chips and nuts. Form into 1” balls. Bake at 350* for 20 minutes. Cool for a few minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Makes about 3 doz. (unless you eat lots of dough:)

Yikes! So these are like Mexican Wedding Cakes, but with chocolate chips, too. Sounds dangerous. I want them.

I am definitely trying these! I made your bean/chicken tortilla soup recipe the other day and it was a major hit!! I added some corn and a dash of lime juice at the end to mine too, and it was delish!!

I don't bake. This picture made me want to. I attempted to make them. Don't use whole wheat flour. They are gross. I fed them to the dog. :-) If I get enough energy, I will try again.
